We are looking for experienced, male Specialist Support Workers for these fantastic opportunities to work within a supported living environment in Knottingley!

In this support worker position, you will be providing care and support to individuals dealing with trauma and forensic history. For these individuals this will be the first time that they will be integrating and being involved in the community. We are looking for someone who is truly a team player and is proactive, extremely resilient, and hard working.

If you are someone who has worked within a similar environment before (perhaps aligned environments such as secure units, rehabilitation, security, military etc.) and are looking to take your career to the next level without the stress of management responsibilities and are passionate about the person you are supporting, then this would be a fantastic role for you!

Requirements to become an Specialist Support Worker:

• Previous understanding and knowledge of MCA and DOLS (we will provide refresher training on both)
• Either have experience working within a social care setting or have personal experience of supporting a family member or friend.
• Be proactive and focused on the key aspects of outcomes/person led care and support, and implement this into your role.

For this role we have immediate starts available, and we are holding interviews all this week and next.
